Welcome to my lighter collection page. I collect lighters from the 1940's to present in new or near mint shape. Most of my collection is from 1970 until today and many are Zippo®s that are limited, discontinued, were put out in sets or series from the 1990s that I think was the best decade and will be the most collectible lighters in years to come.
Older lighters from other companies like Ronson®, Evans, Ritepoint, Scripto, Negbaur and others that are no longer made and I just think look good are also one's I collect withmost of them being table lighters although pocket lighters from these companies are collected by me too.
There are many types of people who collect lighters, some collect older vintage, military, styles that may have links to their past or what they might like and have an interest in. Many collect for the enjoyment while others collect for investment.
Many companies have used Zippo® and other lighters for advertising and artist have contributed their work making the lighters a work of art in themselves and I find that using lighters as a canvas can bring their art to those that may not be able too or cannot afford it on print and also because of this you need not be a smoker to have an interest in collecting lighters and Zippo’s only an interest in lighters made by American companies with a long history of producing quality products.

There will be reviews of lighters and interviews with people who make lighters their business.
